DRAKE MAGAZINE
2013 - 2015
During my sophomore and junior years at Drake University, I designed print spreads for the university's student- run magazine, Drake Magazine. I collaborated with writers, photographers, and editors to create layouts for various sections of the magazine. For the Fall 2014 issue I designed a feature story about human trafficking in the Midwest, which won first place for magazine spread design at the Associated Collegiate Press awards in 2015, and was also a finalist for student editorial design at the Art Director’s Association of Iowa awards.
